Options for Nurses | Canada, Australia and New Zealand

If you are a Registered Nurse planning to immigrate to Canada, Australia or New Zealand, here are your options:

1. Canada Express Entry System. Program will start January 2015*. To be eligible, you must:

• be at least 19 years old
• have at least 1 year paid (legal) work experience within the last 10 years
• be proficient in English Language (no IELTS score lower than 6 in all areas

2. Quebec Skilled Worker Program. Program will start April 2015* and will be accepting a limited number of applications.  To be eligible, you must:

• be at least 21 years old 
• have at least 1 year paid work experience (legal) within the last 5 years
• IELTS and French Language Tests, optional

*New requirements/criteria may be implemented

3. Australia/New Zealand. To apply as immigrant in Australia or New Zealand, you must:

• be a Registered Nurse
• have at least 2 years paid work experience within the last 5 years
• be less than 43 years old
• Academic IELTS Score of at least 7 in all areas
